About Us

The Greater Palm Bay Senior Activity Center was established on April 2, 1989, with a current membership of more than 1300 people. Its main purposes are to oversee the operations of a senior citizen facility, promote the welfare of senior citizens in Brevard County, and raise funds for the facility. The Center leases the building from the City of Palm Bay for a nominal fee and covers expenses such as utilities, furniture, and insurance. Its revenue sources include bingo, membership fees, special events, advertising, sponsorship, and the kitchen.

All operations within this organization are carried out by committed volunteers, as there are no paid positions. The team consists of over 85 individuals who contribute their time and expertise to fulfill various roles and responsibilities.
