About Us

Space Coast Discovery is a nonprofit private school in Brevard County dedicated to helping children with diverse learning, developmental, behavioral, and sensory needs reach their highest potential. The school serves students from early childhood through the elementary grades, including many with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, communication challenges, and emotional or behavioral needs. Small class sizes, an approximately 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio, and individualized instruction allow educators to meet students at their current academic and developmental levels.

Academic programs emphasize literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, health, and physical education through multisensory, hands-on, and adaptive teaching methods. Student progress is measured through formal assessments, teacher observations, and individualized learning goals, with instruction adjusted to support continued growth.

Space Coast Discovery also provides behavioral support, social-emotional learning, sensory regulation strategies, and crisis-prevention and de-escalation assistance. The school coordinates access to services such as speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapies and works closely with families to reinforce student progress at home. Its supportive, structured environment is designed to help students build academic skills, independence, confidence, communication, and positive relationships while providing a safe and inclusive place to learn.
