17th Annual Native Rhythms Festival
The 17th Annual Native Rhythms Festival will take place on Friday, November 14th through Sunday, November 16th at Wickham Park Amphitheater under the beautiful pines. The three-day family friendly free of admission festival celebrates and honors Native American Heritage Month each November. Musical and Cultural Dance performances are highlighted on the Amphitheater Stage from 9 am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Award winning artists take the stage and present beautiful music and dance for all to enjoy. The festival provides a Vendor Village where over 40 artists and craftspeople provide shopping opportunities for one-of-a-kind creations. An Exhibitor Village is the place to meet our local nonprofit organizations that will provide educational experiences for all. The Workshop program covers diverse topics with a variety of educators and hands on skills presentations. The East Meets West Exhibit provides a museum quality living history immersion into the cultures of Americas original peoples. Katrina BigMountain provides a living history presentation of the roles of women in Native Cultures. Special Veteran's Day programs will remember and honor those who have served and are serving our Country, Come join the celebration and be a part of this family friendly Festival.
