6th Annual Low Impact Development Conference
Marine Resources Council's 6th Annual Low Impact Development Conference covers a full range of tools and highlights case studies that demonstrate cost-effective means to set and meet pollution load reductions, recharge groundwater aquifers, and prevent flooding. Following on last year's success, the 2026 conference has a call for abstracts to encourage organizations across the region to share their projects, as well as a pre-conference field trip.
2026 marks Marine Resources Council's 6th annual LID Conference. In past years, we've covered themes like the Community LID audit tool, Florida's new stormwater rule, project planning, and project implementation. This year, we're focusing on how municipalities, builders, and communities work together for LID + GSI solutions by exploring:
-
Public-Private Partnerships
-
HOA and Residential Communities
-
Community-Driven Infrastructure
-
Building public will for LID
-
Equity and Environmental Justice
