NOW HIRING COSMETOLOGIST OR BARBER

We are seeking a highly skilled Hair Stylist or Barber to join our dynamic team. Whether you're interested in working for Commission or Renting a Station. all backbar supplies will be provided. You just need to bring your implements/tools. As a Hair Stylist/Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to guests, including cutting, coloring, and styling. The ideal candidate will have a full book of guests to follow them, possess a passion for beauty and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. NOTE: Due to severe allergies, there will be NO perms performed in the salon.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a wide range of hair services, including cuts, colors, highlights, and styles, using a variety of techniques and tools.
• Utilize skills in hair sculpting, coloring, and hair straightening techniques to deliver precise and tailored services.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Retail sales to ensure guests are taking proper care of their hair.
• Utilize Gloss Genius software to schedule appointments and manage guest information.
• Collaborate with other stylists and salon staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the salon runs smoothly.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A degree or certification and current Florida State License in cosmetology or barbering is required.
• At least one year of experience as a Hair Stylist is preferred.
• Proficiency in hair sculpting, coloring, and hair straightening techniques.
• Knowledge of retail sales and store management principles.
• Experience with wide range of hair services, including cuts, colors, highlights, and styling is an asset.
• Familiarity with hair extensions and the ability to install and maintain them is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• A commitment to ongoing education and training in the beauty industry.
• A passion for creating beautiful hairstyles and a desire to succeed in the beauty industry.

Station Rental Applicants: Choose your own hours
Commission Applicants:
Monday to Friday - 9am until finished with last guest/appointment
Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay: 
Commission Applicants: Commission pay + Tips
Station Rental: Keep your earnings and Tips, minus weekly Rent + Rental Tax (All Backbar Products Provided)
